Golden Principle #1: It Doesn't Matter How Much You Care for Someone, It Takes Time for Your Care to be Trusted
Presentation by Dr. Andy Neillie, CSP (Certified Speaking Professional)
We rescued Redford from a horrible situation when he, along with 65 other Golden Retrievers, was rescued from a puppy mill in the fall of 2004. When he came to our home, he had much to learn about relationships and trust. And so did we. Since Redford joined our family, we’ve come to realize several profound relationship principles. “Golden Principle #1: It doesn’t matter how much you care for someone, it takes time for your care to be trusted” is an uplifting keynote presentation for your participants about the importance of earning the right to be heard.
Dr. Andy Neillie's take on the importance of building trust as a leader has made him a requested authority on leadership effectiveness. Through keynote speeches and leadership workshops, he invests increased effectiveness into leaders for organizations worldwide. In addition to his speaking work, Andy is also the author of The Golden Principles: Life and Leadership Lessons from a Rescued Dog.
In addition to his leadership speaking and writing, Dr. Andy Neillie is a Senior Training Consultant with Richardson, where he has served since the late 1990s. Andy earned his doctorate in 2003, and his dissertation studies enabled him to read deeply and interview key leaders on the importance of personal trust and leadership effectiveness. Additionally, Andy was recently awarded the National Speakers Association’s Certified Speaking Professional designation, which is the NSA’s highest recognition of speaking and communication excellence.
